Today was the first day we could relax (and sleep in!) so we went to the beach! It was so nice to just relax with new friends. The water in the Mediterranean sea is so clear and calm, but hot! More like a hot tub than refreshing like the Atlantic. But it was still nice.
Last night was an eventful night…we went out to some cool places on Rothchild which is a very main street in Tel Aviv. We had a lot of fun! I could not believe how many people were out and about. The bars were packed til 4 am– and after I am sure!!
From what everyone says, I am excited to be here during Yom Kippur. I hear it is amazing, but I will report back! In the meantime, I wish everyone a meaningful Yom Kippur and an easy fast. 🙂
